Longlands Primary School in Market Drayton has been recognised for its strong performance in the latest Shropshire primary school rankings, as published in The Telegraph.
The ranking, which evaluates schools on a 40-point scoring system, considers key factors such as exam results, pupil progress, and class sizes. Longlands Primary School achieved a score of 34 out of 40, placing it among the top 19 primary schools in Shropshire.
Notably, 77% of pupils at Longlands met the expected standard in reading, writing, and maths, surpassing the national average of 61%. This highlights the school’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and the dedication of both staff and pupils.
