This exciting event will showcase the incredible women-led businesses and women’s groups in our local area, bringing the community together to celebrate and support their achievements. Whether you’re a business owner, part of a women’s group, or simply looking to connect and be inspired, this event promises to be a fantastic day of empowerment, learning, and networking.
An Event Organised for Women, by Women
Local organiser Denise McGowan is passionate about highlighting the contributions of women in Market Drayton. Speaking about her inspiration for the event, she shared:
“Having attended IWD events over the past few years and organised wellbeing events in the past, I felt inspired to collaborate with the fabulous businesses in and around Market Drayton that are either run by women or benefit women to showcase what they offer at our own International Women’s Day event. The uptake of stalls, workshops, and speakers has been amazing, and I hope their enthusiasm will encourage the community to come and find us all at the event.”
With a fantastic lineup of speakers and exhibitors, the event offers a chance to hear from inspiring women, discover local businesses, and connect with others in the community.
