Image on Food in Market Drayton is a family-founded business known for its charming, hand-decorated gingerbread biscuits. Established in 1987 by local entrepreneurs Tim and Sarah Hopcroft—originally bakers at The Bread Bin in Market Drayton—the idea for gingerbread novelties began as a creative extension of their bakery. After developing their now-secret gingerbread recipe, the couple began decorating and selling shaped biscuits in their shop. A chance order of 700 gingerbread farmyard animals for the Ironbridge Gorge Museum marked the beginning of something much bigger. That initial success led to the official founding of Image on Food and helped cement Market Drayton’s identity as the Home of the Gingerbread. Today, Image on Food continues to produce high-quality, beautifully packaged gingerbread treats, supplying gift shops, heritage outlets, and retailers across the UK.
