Launched in 2015, Beer Day Britain is a chance for brewers, publicans, and beer lovers to unite in celebration of Britain’s rich beer culture. The date—15th June—was chosen to coincide with the sealing of the Magna Carta, which even mentions ale as a staple of life!
At 7pm, join the country in the nationwide “Cheers to Beer” toast—whether you’re at home, in a local pub, or out exploring.

Market Drayton has a deep connection to beer through Joule’s Brewery—a historic name dating back to the 16th century, with brewing continuing here since 1779.
Famous for its Pale Ale, Blonde, Slumbering Monk, and a host of seasonal specials, Joule’s continues to craft beer using water from the same ancient aquifer as the original brewery.
