Market Drayton’s popular Community Day is back on Saturday 12 September, bringing together free family activities, community organisations, the Health & Wellbeing Hub and the bustling Artisan Market for another fantastic day in the town centre.
Taking place from 10am to 2pm at Market Drayton Town Hall, the free Community Day offers something for everyone. Families can enjoy arts and crafts, games, activities and entertainment, while adults can chat to a wide range of local organisations offering health, wellbeing and community support.
And we’ve heard a rumour that the Market Drayton Gingerbread Man might also be making a special appearance, so be sure to keep an eye out during the day!
Alongside Community Day, the popular Market Drayton Artisan Market will once again bring the town centre to life with a fantastic selection of independent traders. Browse handmade gifts, artisan food and drink, crafts, jewellery, artwork and much more while supporting talented local businesses.
Together, the two events make the perfect excuse to spend the day in Market Drayton.
Take time to explore the town’s independent shops, enjoy breakfast, lunch or coffee in one of the many cafés and restaurants, and discover everything else the town has to offer.
Market Drayton is easy to reach, with plenty of convenient parking close to the town centre. If you’re travelling by public transport, the 304 bus service from Whitchurch and other regular routes make visiting simple.
Whether you’re looking for a fun family day out, would like to discover local health and wellbeing services, or simply fancy a browse around the artisan stalls, Community Day is the perfect opportunity to enjoy everything happening in Market Drayton.
