A Market Drayton business owner is celebrating after being shortlisted as a finalist in the Small Business Awards Female Entrepreneur of the Year category.
Cameron Reynolds, who runs a mobile veterinary physiotherapy practice serving dogs and horses across Shropshire and the surrounding counties, has been recognised for her entrepreneurial success and dedication to animal welfare.
Cam is a Level 6 qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and is registered with the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP). After studying at Harper Adams University, she chose to make Market Drayton her home, moving to the town with her partner Rob and purchasing their first house here last year.
Through her business, Cam works closely with owners, vets and other professionals to help animals improve mobility, recover from injury and maintain their quality of life. While her work primarily focuses on dogs and horses, she says cats can also benefit from physiotherapy – although they are often less willing participants!
Being named a finalist is a significant achievement, particularly as competition for the awards continues to grow each year.
Speaking about the recognition, Cam said: “To be shortlisted as a finalist for this award feels amazing. I have worked so hard and am so proud of myself, and it is lovely to get the recognition.
“The screening process gets tougher each year, and I am honoured to be considered. I owe a great deal to my partner Rob for his endless support, and to my lovely clients for trusting me to care for their beloved animals.”
Away from work, Cam enjoys exploring the countryside through hiking and camping, has a passion for great coffee and shares her home with Martha, a rescue cat adopted from the Blue Cross.
Having settled in Market Drayton, Cam says the town has provided the perfect place to build both a business and a home.
“Market Drayton is a fantastic place to live and work,” she said. “Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive since we moved here. It’s a town with a real community spirit, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and it’s the ideal base for my business. I’m proud to be representing both Shropshire and Market Drayton in these awards.”

Cam’s success is a testament to the talent and determination found across the town and provides another reason for local residents to celebrate.
