The festive season is a wonderful time to slow down, catch up with friends and family – and also to get outdoors. Walking is one of the simplest ways to stay active, clear your head and boost your wellbeing, especially at a busy time of year. Even better, it feels extra special when you are walking together for a good cause.
That’s why Make It Market Drayton will be lacing up our walking boots and getting involved in a charity walk organised by Market Drayton Sunday Tickle Fitness, taking place on Sunday 28 December 2025, and we would love you to join us.
The walk is approximately 6 miles around Market Drayton, taking in a variety of local scenery including fields, tracks, the canal path and quiet roads. It is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, stretch your legs after Christmas and share a few laughs along the way.
All money raised will go to Ward 202, Cancer Centre at Royal Stoke University Hospital, supporting vital work that makes a real difference to so many people and families.
